Later apocryphal books such as the Book of Enoch also make mention of the Watchers. It is therefore commonly believed, and to some lesser degree confirmed, that the Denarii are in fact members of the legion of 200 Angels whose downfall was a result of their lust for women. “And whereas the king saw a watcher, a holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and his portion with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him ” Daniel 4:23 -King James Version Nebuchadnezzar then describes how in his dream the watcher says that Nebuchadnezzar will eat grass and be mad and that this punishment is " by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones " in order that " the living may know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men." After hearing the king’s dream Daniel considers for an hour and then responds: In Daniel 4:13, 17, 23 there are three references made to the “watcher, holy one.” Nebuchadnezzar describes a vision in which he saw “a watcher, a holy one come down (singular verb) from heaven.” The singular verb indicates that “a watcher, a holy one” are two different titles for the same being or class of being. They are again mentioned, this time by the title of “Watcher” as seen in these passage excerpts from the Book of Daniel.

They were the heroes of old, the men of renown." (Genesis 6:1-4) His days shall comprise one hundred and twenty years.” At that time the Nephilim appeared on earth (as well as later), after the sons of God had intercourse with the daughters of man, who bore them sons. Then the Lord said: “My spirit shall not remain in man forever, since he is but flesh. “When men began to multiply on earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw how beautiful the daughters of man were, and so they took for their wives as many of them as they chose. The oldest recorded origins of the members comprising the order is found within the pages of the Bible:

Prior to their organization as a cohesive group, they were a relatively small group of Fallen Angels who had just begun to work together for their mutual protection and benefit. The Order of the Blackened Denarius did not begin as such in fact, they did not become organized until around 35 AD. The group is also one of the most ancient of those that the Society faces, although we do so in a loose alliance with two other known organizations, the Venatori Umbratum and the Knights of the Sword, both of which will be detailed in a short while. Unlike other creatures of the Unknown the Denarii are organized and function as a relatively cohesive group. The Order of the Blackened Denarius is one of the vilest organizations that SAVE has ever faced.
